Candle painting is a relaxed, playful activity for anyone with an interest in making something beautiful. In the session Lise-Marie will teach you everything you need to know about painting your own unique candle. All materials and equipment will be provided to paint two tapered candles and if time is on your side you can paint more candles for a small surcharge. You will be able to take your candles home at the end of the session or gift them! 

The candles provided are made from stearin wax which is a vegetable fat with no nasty paraffin. The paints are all non-toxic, water-based. 

If you would like your candles to be vanished before taking home, you will need to wait one hour to allow the candle to dry. This willl allow time to explore the gardens at Helmingham Hall and enjoy your refreshments. 

Helmingham Hall Gardens are open late for midsummer nights, your ticket includes entry to the gardens as well as a hot drink and cake from the Helmingham tea rooms.
